Rules
Star-rating auto-reply rules
Auto-reply is a switch per star rating. Default is off. You turn on the ratings you already trust. 1-star stays in the queue forever.
A working default for most shops
5-star: auto-send with a delay (catch sarcasm). 4-star: auto or draft — your call. 3-star and 2-star: drafts. 1-star: never auto. That is the policy we recommend, not a ranking tactic.
Delay
A delay on auto-send gives a manager a window to stop a draft that thanked a sarcastic five or missed a named complaint hiding in a 4-star. If nobody sits the inbox, a delay does nothing — keep those ratings as drafts.
What auto-send will not do
It will not post 1-star. It will not invent a refund. It will not skip your custom instructions. It will still write a generic line if your instructions are empty and the review is “Great!” — edit those or accept short thank-yous.
Questions
Can I auto-post 1-star if I really want to?
No. That is a product rule, not a plan feature. Draft and post yourself after you read it.
Can rules differ by location?
Yes. Each listing has its own auto-reply ratings. The 1-star lock is global.
