Trust

Official Google OAuth. No scraping. You can revoke us.

reviewsGBP connects with official Google Business Profile OAuth. No passwords stored, no scraping, revoke anytime. What we store, how to disconnect, and how that differs from unofficial review tools.

How access works

You start Google’s consent screen from Connect. Google issues tokens scoped to Business Profile. We use those tokens to list locations, sync reviews, and post owner replies you approve (or that match an auto-send rule). We never ask for your Google password.

What we store

Account identity, plan, location connections, review copies needed to run the inbox, drafts, and the audit of what posted. Analytics are volume, star mix, and response rate — not a made-up reputation grade. Details live in the Privacy Policy.

What we do not store

  • Google passwords
  • Payment card numbers (Stripe does)
  • A shadow copy of your whole Business Profile (Posts, photos, hours) — we are not a GBP CMS

Revoke and delete

Disconnect a location in Settings. Revoke the app in Google account security. Delete the reviewsGBP account when you want our copies gone. Posted owner replies remain on Google; they are not ours to unwrite.

Why this page exists

Unofficial “review bots” still sell Chrome extensions and session cookies. That is a policy and a security problem. If a tool cannot explain OAuth in a paragraph, do not connect it to the listing that makes you money.

Questions

Do you store my Google password?

No. Sign-in to Google uses OAuth. You can revoke reviewsGBP from your Google account permissions at any time.

Do you scrape Google or use a browser session?

No. Reviews are read and replies are posted through Google’s official Business Profile APIs.

Who can see my reviews in reviewsGBP?

People on your reviewsGBP account. We do not sell review text. Support may see what you send us. See the Privacy Policy.
